Brynnley filled our lives with laughter, kindness, and a smile we will never forget. In her memory, we created the LiveLikeB Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting children facing DIPG and the families who love them. We carry B’s spirit forward by easing financial burdens and sharing the love she gave so freely.
Brynnley, our sweet “B,” was born on October 18, 2015. From the moment we met her, she filled our world with joy. Her big smile could light up a room, and her laughter made you want to laugh right along with her.
B loved swimming, gymnastics, baseball, and going to school. She loved making people smile and had a way of turning everyday moments into memories. Above all, she was a wonderful big sister.
On May 26, 2020, B was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, or DIPG, a rare brain cancer. Our family’s life changed, but the little girl we knew and loved was still there: playful, loving, and full of spirit.
For 550 days, B faced treatments, scans, and more needle pokes than any child should have to endure. She underwent 40 rounds of radiation. As the disease progressed, she lost the ability to walk and the vision in one eye. Through so much hardship, she continued to share her smile and laughter with those around her.
B gained her wings on November 27, 2021. She will forever be six, and forever our daughter, big sister, and hero.
In January 2022, we, Scott and Kristyn Niederhaus, established the LiveLikeB Foundation in her honor. We cannot take away another family’s heartbreak, but we can help ease the burdens they carry. B’s love lives on in every family we support and every act of kindness shared in her name.

Our mission is to honor Brynnley by standing beside DIPG warriors and their families with compassion and practical financial support.
Travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses can add to the weight of a diagnosis. We help ease those costs so families can focus on caring for their child and spending time together.
We also raise awareness and dedicate a portion of the funds we raise each year to pediatric cancer research. With our community’s support, we carry B’s kindness forward and keep working toward a future with a cure.
