Brynnley, or as some may know her “B”, was born on October 18, 2015 and the moment we laid our eyes on her, we knew just how amazing she would be. She had the biggest smile that would light up any room with a laugh that would fill it. A laugh that was so infectious that you found yourself just laughing because of her adorable laughter. As B grew up, the most amazing little personality began to shine. She was always found smiling and laughing and always trying to make everyone around her smile and laugh. She had a very strong bond with anyone she came in contact with. She was your typical kid who loved swimming, gymnastics, playing baseball, and loved going to school.

 

On May 26, 2020 B was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) a rare inoperable cancerous brain tumor that wraps itself around the brain stem. It effects roughly 250-300 kids in the U.S. a year.

Unfortunately, there is no cure and families are told to go home and make memories, it is the worst pediatric brain cancer known. 

B fought bravely for 550 days. Over the course of her fight, she endured 40 rounds of radiation, 38 Covid swabs, way too many MRI’s, way too many pokes, losing the hair in the back of her head, losing the ability to walk and losing the vision in one eye but she never let that stop her, never let her cancer diagnosis define her in any way and was always smiling and laughing. 

 

She ultimately gained her wings on November 27, 2021 and will forever be 6. B was hands down a warrior, an inspiration and hero to so many.  Her Fight will forever be our fight.
